Daily Schedule

Altmayer elementary school

Regular School Day:  8:00 AM to  2:50 PM
Children should arrive at school no earlier than 7:35 a.m., when full supervision begins.  If there is inclement weather a large yellow flag or signs will be posted to indicate that students should enter the building upon arrival. 

Playground supervision ends at 3:05 PM on regular school days.

A.M Recess

  • 1 - 10:50 - 11:10 (Recess 1st 10:30 - 10:50)
  • 2 - 11:15 - 11:55 (Recess 11:35)

  • 3 - 11:55 - 12:35 (Recess 12:15)
  • 4 - 12:15 - 12:55 (Recess 12:35)

P.M. Recess

  • 1 - 1:05 - 1:20
  • 2 -  1:15 - 1:30
  • 3 -  1:35 - 1:50

SUPERVISION BEGINS at 7:45 am - Students will line up on their assigned dots by classroom. Please do not drop students off before 7:45 am, as there is not enough supervision to watch all the students.  

BREAKFAST STUDENTS ONLY - may arrive at 7:35 am and come directly into the building through the Kindergarten doors.  The cost is $2.00 and will be charged to your child’s lunch account. The cost of lunch this year is $3.25 and for milk only is $.50.  Free and Reduced applications must be filled out each year. They can be filled out by logging into your parent portal, Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Paper copies of the application are available at the school office.

The playground is closed after school from 2:50 pm until 3:05 pm.  Please do not let younger children play on the playground after school until 3:05 PM. Playground supervisors are helping students get to their buses or pick-up spots during this time, and it’s hard to keep track of everyone if others are on the equipment. For everyone’s safety, dogs are not allowed on campus.
